A full examination followed by scaling and a polish. We check every tooth, the gums and the bite, take X-rays only if something needs a closer look, and tell you what we found before you leave the chair.

How the visit goes
Three steps, no surprises.
- Before — we look, take a scan or X-ray only if it changes the plan, and tell you the price in writing.
- During — 45 min in the chair. You'll know what's happening at each stage rather than being talked over.
- After — written aftercare, a direct number if anything worries you, and a review appointment booked before you leave.
Common questions
Will it hurt?
Not during — local anaesthetic handles that. Afterwards, most patients need nothing stronger than ibuprofen for a day.
Do I pay on the day?
Yes, or in instalments for longer courses. Either way you'll have the total in writing before we start.
What if I need to move the appointment?
Use the link in your confirmation email, or call us. No charge as long as it's more than a couple of hours ahead.
